ABOUT US
Bravissimo Kennels was founded in Italy on the basis of friendship and success. We aim to achieve any goal we set, and we do it while having a good time. Blythe Kearney, the founder, invested in the creation of this kennel to better improve the quality of life for countless dogs (and even some cats!). She and the other employees work to provide for these animals, and make sure they get the most out of their lives, while forming bonds and relationships along the way. Blythe's older sister, Felisa, is the on-sight veterinarian on the clock 6 days a week.

We specialize in Borzois, Ibizan Hounds, and American Staffordshire Terriers. We breed for healthy genetics, desireable coat types, and good temperaments. Our dogs are fit for both show lives and pet lives, just let us know what you want!
Professional trainers and handlers visit from time to time to provide lessons to both dogs and people for shows and to just build trust with one another. The kennel acts as an adoption clinic as well, so any dogs with temperamental issues are definitely coaxed out of these habits with care, not cruel punishment. We want to provide, not take away.

We train our dogs to be compatible with other dogs, children, cats, and even smaller animals. Dogs are let offered a constant way into our 2 acre backyard for play and bathroom needs. Any dogs not suitable for socialization just yet are not allowed into the main yard until they are ready. Mothers and puppies have their own places to stay, as well.
BASIC RULES

You may not change anything about the dog physically other than shade and shine markings. If something could be a mistake, bring it up to me and I'll say if it can be changed.

Only two copies will exist - a backup copy I will keep and the copy sent to you. I will delete the dog from my game upon sending them to you, but I will still have the backup file.

If you are missing custom content for the dog, such as markings, replace them as closely as you can. We also use sliders ,and those are readily available online with a quick search.

You must keep my prefix "BRV". No adding your own or removing mine. (If buying an adult dog, you may not change their show name, but you can change their call name)

If not already registered, you must register the dog with SUKC and /or SKC within 3 weeks of purchase.

You may not post the coat or template up for public download, or use the coat or template for your own future dogs.

The dog must remain active. Please enter at least one show per month (this does not apply for pets) after the minimum showing age of 6 months, and have his or her profile up (on your website or your kennel thread) within two weeks. After two warnings, the dog will be repossessed (If you have a valid reason to becoming inactive, please let me know so that I don't repossess your dog). Once the dog reaches retirement it no longer applies to this rule.

If you can no longer keep the dog, please let us know. We may want to keep it, or take care of the rehoming ourselves.

For each rule violation, you get one warning and a date that the problem must be resolved. You get your second warning after that date, and a repossession after the second warning's date. For each dog repossessed, that's one strike toward you. Three strikes and you are no longer allowed to buy from us.

We follow the 3 months = 1 year aging system. Feel free to convert to your own system if it's different.

Let me know in your application if you plan on showing any of our dogs on sites other than SKC and SUKC. Unless I approve, you may not do so.

Do not breed our bitches more than twice in their lifetime, and not until they have reached at least 2 years of age (same for dogs).

If you have read these rules, include the word "banana" in your application.

We will choose a dog's home based on your activity level and the dog's personal needs.
